Omnitron Systems Technology, an Irvine-based designer and manufacturer of fiber optic networking technology, is seeking an inside sales representative.

Responsibilities

  • Actively develop new business by making outbound phone calls, emails and zoom presentations from (OST Database and research made by salesperson)
  • Respond to inbound emails, calls and web chats generated by our marketing efforts
  • Add and Update status of each leads in our CRM (contact info, notes, market segment, status, referred by lead source etc.) 
  • Maintain long-term repeat distribution / channel partner relationships
  • Develop and maintain current product knowledge to support and educate channel partners and assist with specifying our fiber networking products into large end user accounts
  • Work closely with channel partners to uncover opportunities within their existing customer base
  • Customer support:
    • Provide training and support to channel partners and end users
    • Provide product and delivery information to customers by obtaining necessary information from shipping, manufacturing, engineering or sales support employees
  • Start and Complete RFP and RFQ requirements with channel partners and end users
  • Initiate resolution to customer problems
  • Report market, competitive information and sales opportunity report on a weekly basis (Sales activity report shall be done through ACT database)
  • Work at trade shows
  • Travel up to 10% of time to meet customers

Technical Requirements

  • Past technical experience with fiber access, networking products and topologies is a plus
