Omnitron in the News

iConverter STM-1 IRVINE, CA – April 14, 2009 Omnitron Systems Technology, (www.omnitron-systems.com), a provider of Carrier Ethernet demarcation devices and media converters, announced today that it will make a corporate donation to the American Red Cross to support earthquake relief efforts in Haiti. Omnitron will donate an amount equivalent to 1 percent of January 2010 sales to the Red Cross.

"Our thoughts are with all those affected by this terrible tragedy," said Omnitron CEO Arie Goldberg. “I have family members who were dispatched to Haiti to provide medical support, and I feel privileged that Omnitron can do its part to help those affected by the earthquake in this time of critical need."

The recent earthquake in Haiti caused catastrophic damage and loss of life. As many as three million people may have been affected by the earthquake, which collapsed government buildings and caused major damage to hospitals in the area. Humanitarian organizations are mobilizing their efforts to provide rescue services and medical care in a massive international effort. “I am glad to see the outpouring of support from around the world”, Goldberg continued, “and I hope the generous contributions can provide some relief and reassurance to the people of Haiti in these dire times.”
