RoHS and WEEE Compliance

Omnitron Systems is committed to reducing the environmental impact of its network connectivity products through responsible product design, material selection, manufacturing, and end-of-life practices. Our environmental compliance initiatives support customers deploying reliable network infrastructure throughout the United States and international markets.

Omnitron products are available in compliance with the European Union’s Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) requirements. Omnitron also supports the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive, which promotes the responsible collection, reuse, recycling, and recovery of electrical and electronic equipment.

The European Union has adopted Directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), with requirements that went into effect August 13, 2005. WEEE is intended to reduce the disposal of waste from electrical and electronic equipment by establishing guidelines for prevention, reuse, recycling and recovery.

Omnitron Systems Technology has already modified its practices and processes to conform to the requirements since the Directive took effect.
