Key Features

Omnitron T1/E1 media converters provide standard T1 (1.544Mbps) or E1 (2.048Mbps) copper-to-fiber conversion and can be used to extend the demarcation point between service provider and networking equipment.

Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing (CWDM) is a proven and cost-effective solution to deliver new applications, more bandwidth and more services over existing fiber networks. Omnitron’s iConverter CWDM MUXes and OADMs multiplex and demultiplex multiple wavelengths (data channels) to expand the capacity of fiber network links.

  • Transport up to 16 data channels with different data rates and protocols across a fiber link
  • Each channel can support a data rate of up to 10 Gigabits
