TAA, BAA and NDAA Compliance

Omnitron Systems designs and manufactures network connectivity products in Irvine, California, USA. Our products are trusted in federal, defense, transportation, utility, industrial, and critical infrastructure networks where compliance, reliability, and long-term product availability matter.

Omnitron products are TAA, BAA and NDAA compliant, with the exception of SFP transceivers and CWDM multiplexers, which are TAA and NDAA compliant only.

The Trade Agreements Act applies to many federal procurement contracts and limits products to those manufactured or substantially transformed in the United States or a designated country. GSA notes that TAA applies to GSA Schedule contracts unless otherwise stated.

Omnitron products are manufactured in the United States and meet TAA requirements.

The Buy American Act gives preference to domestic end products for federal procurement. Under FAR guidance, a manufactured product must generally be manufactured in the United States and meet applicable domestic content requirements.

Omnitron’s U.S.-manufactured products support Buy American Act procurement requirements.

Section 889 of the FY 2019 NDAA restricts federal agencies from procuring covered telecommunications equipment or services from prohibited sources.

Omnitron products are NDAA compliant and do not contain prohibited covered telecommunications equipment as a substantial or essential component.
