September 14, 2005 -- Omnitron Systems Technology, Inc., the premier manufacturer of fiber optic media converters and connectivity products for Enterprise and First Mile Metropolitan Area Network applications, announced that a distribution agreement has been signed with JTS Corporation (Headquarters in Yokohama, Japan) to start selling its products and solutions in Japan.
Omnitron has been providing a wide variety of fiber media converters and fiber access products to North America, South America, Asian and European markets since its foundation in 1992.
As part of its Asian market expansion, Omnitron is strengthening its position in the important and fast growing Japanese fiber optic communication market by selecting JTS to distribute its iConverter family of managed media converter products. Omnitron and JTS marketing initiatives will target carriers, Broadband service providers, enterprises and local and federal governments in Japan.
