The FlexCeiver 10B2 is an IEEE 802.3 compatible Medium Attachment Unit (MAU) transceiver that provides physical medium connection to products featuring Attachment Unit Interface (AUI) connectors. The FlexCeiver 10B2 is powered from the AUI connector.
The FlexCeiver 10B2 supports 10Base-2 and connects to coax cabling. It features a BNC connector, supports a 50 ohm cable, and provides switch-selectable cable termination. Per IEEE 802.3 standard, up to 30 workstations can be attached to the coax segment.
The switch-selectable Signal-Quality-Error (SQE) function provides diagnostic information to the hosting station.
The FlexCeiver 10B2 provides extensive status and diagnostics data through LED indicators that assist in network installation and maintenance.
