1+1 Power Redundancy: Describes a system configuration with two load sharing power supplies capable of operating at full capacity on one supply in the event of a power supply failure. A single power supply can be removed and replaced under power with no impact on the operation of the chassis. In this configuration, one power supply can power the chassis.

2+1 Power Redundancy: Describes a system configuration with three load sharing power supplies capable of operating at full capacity on two supplies in the event of a power supply failure. A single power supply can be removed and replaced under power with no impact on the operation of the chassis. In this configuration, two power supplies are required to power the chassis.
