iConverter Management System
iConverter modules and chassis can be used in managed or unmanaged networks. When managed, the iConverter management system provides the ability to remotely monitor network performance, configure hardware parameters, provision services, generate statistic reports and perform advanced fault detection.
Management is accessed Omnitron’s NetOutlook® SNMP management software, or third party SNMP software. NetOutlook network management software for Windows provides secure, Carrier-Grade network management services for Metro Ethernet and Enterprise networks with real-time management, status monitoring and configuration control of iConverter chassis and modules.

Management is achieved by adding an iConverter Network Management Module (NMM2) or a Network Interface Device (NID) with built-in management to the chassis. An iConverter NID can manage an iConverter chassis of modules, or manage itself as a standalone unit.
