Omnitron has produced steady year-to-year growth of its domestic and international market since its incorporation in 1992. This growth can be attributed to Omnitron's innovative and quality-oriented engineering as well as its fanatically responsive customer service (including Omnitron's lifetime warranty and free 24/7 technical support). Steve Mood, Omnitron's CTO put it this way, "Everyone at Omnitron, from the CEO to the shipping clerk is involved in delivering quality, user-oriented products. We talk with our users and pack their ideas into our products. As a result, our engineers design products and features that have value for our customers."

History

Since its first AS/400 and Token Ring products, through its early Ethernet hubs and switches to present day state-of-the-art access products, Omnitron has been developing innovative fiber-optic solutions for network applications.

The FlexPoint™ family of unmanaged media converters was introduced in 1998 to provide a diverse range of unmanaged self-contained module products.

In 2001 Omnitron launched the first of the iConverter® family of managed fiber access media converters with a full and continuously developing set of modules. With its associated SNMP NetOutlook™ Network Management Software, the iConverter family has become the preferred fiber access equipment used by many service providers and enterprise users worldwide.

The miConverter™ family of unmanaged miniature media converters was introduced in 2004 to provide cost-effective fiber-to-the-desktop and fiber-to-the-laptop connectivity solutions.

Today, Omnitron is setting new standards in turnkey Fiber-to-the-X (FTTX) access with easy-to-use products that provide sophisticated fiber connectivity solutions.
